A  Special Meeting  of Aberhafesp Community Council was held on Wednesday

21st February 2018 at the Community Centre.

A special meeting was held on Wednesday 21st February 2018 at Aberhafesp Community Centre regarding the replacement of clerk for the Council.

The Chairman gave a brief report on the issues regarding the appointment of a new clerk - the job had been advertised both locally, in the local paper and on the website and there had been three requests for the'job description 'but nothing further.

The Chairman Nigel Hamer declared an interest and Councillor Glyn Jones  was appointed Chairman for the rest of the meeting. Those present were very pleased to learn that the Chairman's wife Mrs Rachel Hamer  is willing to become the new clerk for Aberhafesp Community Council.

All in agreement with this appointment - Jean Morgan the retiring clerk will continue for a few weeks to oversee the appointment of the new Councillors .
