A Meeting of Aberhafesp Community Council was held on Wednesday
21st February 2018 at the Community Centre.
Present Councillor Nigel Hamer (Chairman), Councillors. Brian Davies, Glyn Jones, Jeffrey Hopkins and Alun Pryce.
Also present Mrs. A. Griffiths and Mr. R. Amy.

A welcome was extended to all present by the Chairman
Apologies: County Councillor Mrs.Hulme.
Minutes of previous meeting had been sent to each Councillor prior to meeting - proposed by Councillor Alun Pryce and seconded by Councillor Brian Davies minutes to be adopted - all agreed - Chairman signed accordingly.
Matters arising - Land at Bwlch y fridd - no further information. Planning - plot 12 at Hillcrest Consent. Village Green meeting now to be held in April. Roadside parking in Bwlch y ffridd County Councillor Mrs Hulme had been in contact with highways and police -it seems some progress has been made Planning - conversion of redundant barn to dwelling - Bwlch Cae Haidd meeting discussed this item and were in agreement as similar application granted previously no objection Proposed by Councillor Glyn Jones, seconded by Councillor Alun Pryce.
Council vacancies - The Council are in receipt of two resignations - Councillor Brian Davies and Councillor Glyn Jones both gentlemen had given long and loyal service to this Parish. The Chairman thanked both gentlemen for their attendance at meetings and their great knowledge of the residents and the overall requirements of the district. Due to the resignations notices will be displayed for names of persons interested in becoming a Community Councillor. The notices will be displayed for two weeks. Other issues - Potholes Cefn Lane, Appeal - Tenavus - no action.l Membership One Voice Wales - continue.
Mrs Griffiths inquired if it was possible to extend the 30 mph speed limit in the village and for the 40mph sign to be replaced - chairman to contact Councillor Hulme.
