A  Meeting  of Aberhafesp Community Council was held on Wednesday

17th February 2016 at the Community Centre.

 

A welcome was extended to all present by the Chairman,  Councillor Alun Pryce.

 

The minutes of the previous meeting were adopted and signed accordingly by the Chairman. Matters arising was once again the overall condition of roads in the Parish some potholes have been repaired but still a great many still waiting attention.

 

Planning application (outline) - four dwellings at Hillcrest - meeting discussed the application at some length including inspection of the data printed out by the clerk (under the new scheme clerks have to produce paperwork from the planners for each application on-line). Due to historic problems in that area concern was expressed over sewerage scheme and soakaways - clerk to enquire from Severn Trent the present situation regarding the sewerage scheme in that area . Meeting agreed to application on condition the said previous problems over sewerage etc. have been rectified.

 

A.O.B. - V.A.T. refund, Application to become a member of 'One Voice Wales' -meeting agreed to support this organization as they may prove off help in the future e.g. legal issues etc. Cheque received for 99p for contents of the paperbank (from P.C.C.).

 

C.A.B - appeal (displayed on notice board). Powys Development Plan 2011-26 details available on disc (contact clerk).

 

Chairman closed meeting as there was no further business.
