A  Meeting  of Aberhafesp Community Council was held on Wednesday

8th October 2014 at the Community Centre.

 

Result of the Annual Audit is displayed in the Community Centre anybody wishing to view the accounts please contact Jean on 688638. The main subject of consideration for the meeting was the proposed closure of Public Toilets by Powys County Council - letter to be sent to Council expressing concern over this issue.

 

Appeal - A donation of £50 was made to Newtown Hospital League of Friends.

 

Concern was expressed over the fact that road improvements due to subsidence near Melin y Gloch had not commenced although a previous letter from Highways department. had stated this item to be scheduled for July - County Councillor. Mrs. Joy Shearer will approach those in charge on the behalf of the Parish.

 

If anybody in the Parish has a problem they would like to bring to the Community Council please contact Jean(Clerk) or one of your Councillors and we will add it to our agendas.
