A Meeting of Aberhafesp Community Council was held on Wednesday
7th June 2017 at the Community Centre.
Present — Councillor Nigel Hamer (Chairman), Councillor Richard Jones (Vice Chairman), Councillors - Brian Davies, , Jeffrey Hopkins, Glyn Jones, Alun Price, Graham Green and County Councillor Mrs. Heulwen Hulme.

1] A welcome was extended to all present by the Chairman and especially to Councillor Graham Green - new Councillor.
2] Apologies - full Council meeting
3] Minutes of previous meeting - each Councillor had received a copy of the minutes prior the meeting. Proposed by Councillor Alun Pryce and seconded by Councillor Jeffrey Hopkins minutes to be adopted. All agreed and Chairman signed accordingly.
4] Matters arising - Highways - X roads above Caersws grass has been cut as requested. Clerk had checked with the planning application at the Lletty and had unfortunately omitted to mention the access in the minutes regarding that planning application- but will put a pencil note in that entry. Insurance for de-fibs -Community Council insurance can only cover if it is stated that the de-fibs belong to the Council - Chairman will inform the Centre committee accordingly. Planning at The Old Rectory and Tyn-y-wtra passed. Clerk had been to the Bank to obtain forms for Bank Mandate (Councillors to sign at end of meeting) and for further information re interest rates- no action at this time. Clerk read a communication from Mr.Amy regarding any further information from P.C.C. regarding the proposed Village Green - no response to date. County Councillor Mrs Heulwen Hulme informed the meeting that there was six points in the main which would favour such an application.
5] Planning - Removal of Clause 106 at 10, Tan-y-bwlch - proposed by Councillor Richard Jones seconded by Councillor Jeffrey Hopkins clause to remain - all agreed. Replacement dwelling at Glan-llyn proposed by Councillor Glyn Jones, seconded by Councillor Brian Davies to support this application - all agreed. A late planning application at Lawnswood could not be officially discussed as there had not been time to display the application (3 days). No further action by this Council. All items had been discussed before votes taken.
6 ] Financial update - meeting completed items for District Audit and Clerk gave an up-date of the financial situation- copy on file.
7 ] Other items - Letter of thanks for her gift from Mrs. Joy Shearer. Community Centre - report from Mr. Edwards Parry on financial situation - meeting discussed this item at some length - proposed by Councillor Alun Pryce and seconded by Councillor Richard Jones a further £500 be donated in July all agreed. County Councillor Hulme informed the meeting that a further investigation is to be made into what appears to be lack of planning of some items at Rhydlydan. Councillor Glyn Jones informed the meeting that it appears that in the future there could be problems of lack of space at the Cemetery at the Church meeting agreed to monitor the situation. Residents adjoining the vacant land in Bwlch-y-ffridd (old quoiting beds) had received letters from the Land Registry. Highways - clerk to inform highways department of potholes in Dsqwilfa Lane and to also to establish what the traffic censor in Aberhafesp is for by next meeting. Both Councillors Brian Davies and Graham Green had signed acceptance of office before commencement of meeting.
